Mosher called up

Rocket goalie Antoine Lafleur is out about a week with a pulled hamstring suffered in last Sunday’s loss to Rouyn-Noranda.

Lafleur will be replaced for the next three games with former fifth-round pick Evan Mosher, who’s 21-11-1 with a 2.61 goals-against-average in 34 games with Miramichi of the Maritime Junior A Hockey League.

I'm not sure how many games the Rocket will play when Lafleur is out, but hopefully Mosher will get a start. It will be nice to see how he is coming along and be interesting to see how he would do in a Q game this season.

Im guessing Mosher will be around for 4-6 games. All depends on how Antoine feels.

and I agree....give the kid a start. He's been playing dynamite in the MJAHL.

You guys have a 3 in 3 this weekend so be a good chance for him to have a start. Maybe tomorrow night in SJ you guys have a pretty tough weekend ahead playing 3 pretty decent teams 2 in the CHL top 10 rankings and AB who are playing with alot of emotion and just beat Halifax. Gotta figure he gets one of the games though.

Also a good chance to get the first win with Drummondville coming up as well. ;D

Bad news for Lafleur and I hope he is alright but at the same time great news for Mosher and I'm really looking forward to seeing him play.

Inbetween now and next Sunday the Rocket play 7 games including a 3-in-3 this weekend.

What I would like to see is him play Saturday against Bathurst and Next Friday at home against Drummondville.
