We're a year behind Halifax because they started their rebuild last year... Halifax is mostly built around Hischier Gravel Groulx and McIsaac plus Fortier. If the Cats hit some home runs at the draft(Q and Euro) they could be near mid pack(9-12th). Given their draft history, I would not hold my breath, but it starts with 1st pick overall.

Halifax is in the bottom half of the league ... it takes time. But they are not struggling. No ? They are 3-7 in their last 10 and their 3 wins were against Moncton ... 3-8 for February. That is definitely struggling.

One fear I have is that they sacrifice 2018 and/or 2019 picks to add veterans that will help immediately...above the 2 OA's rumored to be coming at the draft.

They still have a very good record so far for a team so young. I would gladly take that without trading away future picks for immediate veteran help.
