not sure about Zadina, i thought he did not report to his team this season. I saw highlights of Khovanov the other day, very good player, maybe a Martin Necas too could be a name. You're right, Zadina didn't report to Vancouver so probably scratch him off the list. The only problem with Necas is that he will be NHL drafted this year and then could be assigned to the AHL.

I'm not sure that he is doing anything to get noticed. There seems to be some NHL hype around him but that is because he played in that World Jr A ... and not anything he has done for the Wildcats. Big guy like him has to bring a hard forecheck and create turnovers ... is he doing that ? Do you mean Logan Johnston, he has almost been invisible, can't see him being back next year unless there is a major improvement in his play. Yeah, I don't see him on the roster barring a terrible off season for the WC. Need to get younger and more skilled. Wojicik is much better than him, I would even put Taillon ahead even though Taillon is not a lock for me.

The Cats need a 17 year old in the Euro draft, can't afford to draft a kid only here 1-2 years. Obviously if it's a superstar jumping to NHL at 19, that's a chance you have to take, but not a good pick at this point to take a 19 or 18 year old.

The Titan are sending the Wildcats an OA D for next season in return for the 2017 3rd round pick.

we have no choice of trading Simic, #2 in the Import draft meaning will have a very good player, any names on who yet. sounds like Svechnikov is going to the OHL. I have no knowledge of who they might pick or how good any of these guys are, but here are some potential names you might see in play: Grigori Denisenko Alexander Khovanov Vitali Kravstov Lukas Wernblom Filip Zadina Alexander Zhabreyev Tomas Koblizek Nando Eggenberger Zadina and Koblizek are both Czechs so they would be more likely to come over than any of the Russians or the Swede. Eggenberger is Swiss and would be likely to come over as well. I'm fairly confident they're not going to draft anyone without a pretty firm commitment. I'll throw in a couple other names. Dominik Bokk - Germany Samuel Fagemo - Sweden Let's not shy away from lesser known hockey countries. There's a 2000 born forward out of England named Liam Kirk. He played Under 18s as a 15 year end. Finished the season with 98 points (60 goals) in 17 games. Clearly not a player you would expect to be taken at 2nd overall in the Import Draft, but he could be a steal as a 2nd rounder.

The Titan are sending the Wildcats an OA D for next season in return for the 2007 3rd round pick. Cats didn't have a 3rd rounder in 2007, we can send you Devon MacAusland who was our 2nd that year.

Liam Kirk amassed those points in the England U18 league. Comparable to a house league in our parts of the world.

The Titan are sending the Wildcats an OA D for next season in return for the 2017 3rd round pick. I'm assuming it's Desjardins , but Deschenes is from Fredericton. Either way , with it being a 3rd rounder , I don't mind it at all.
