The big difference is on the back end. Adding Grametbauer, Welsh, Desjardins and Weiringa will make a big impact this year, plus guys like Waite Lecoultre should be better in their 2nd year. Offensively should be an upgrade but maybe not as big...Anderson is a big add, Pelletier should contribute around 50 points(+-10). Cyr McKenna and Campannelli should progress. Plus the crew of big bruising forwards. I see a team very hard to play against, possibly finishing as high as 10-11 or as low as #13-14. Some of it will depend on how many deals are made at midseason. Obviously Miromanov and/or Khovanov showing up would be big.

I think Cats will be 4th in our division Based on current rosters, I see Bathurst battling Halifax and cape Breton for #1 and 2. PEI and SJ are hurting and could finish the bottom 2 teams based on current rosters. The division should be fairly weaker than the last few years.

Not sure how accurate this site is but they have Miromanov listed as a Dman and averaging 1:55 TOI per game through 3 games

Not sure how accurate this site is but they have Miromanov listed as a Dman and averaging 1:55 TOI per game through 3 games probably not that accurate, however Miromanov did play some games on defense for us last year. Mind you I think he's a way better forward either way and wouldn't make sense he plays defense when it's not his best role so I wouldn't count on this information being all that true.

Last year we had two teams in the bottom 6 ... 3 in the top 6 with CB just knocking on the door in 7th. Clearly we won't be that strong this year. This year we could have three teams in the bottom 6 ... hard to say where our top teams fair with the rest of the league.

I know team isn't set in stone but does anyone have a captain they would want to start the season or just have Assiant rotating?

I don't know who will wear the "C", but after watching a period I know who the leader on this team will be. Mark Grametbauer is such a steady presence for you guys back there. Been keeping the moose rookies in their place to when they come near his crease. He's going to be huge.
