Jacob Arsenault has another 4 games to serve. Eligible to return November 4 in Victoriaville. Jaxon Bellamy will leave Monday for U17s.
That will leave us with five defencemen for November 1 in Gatineau and November 3 in Quebec.
Who gets called up?
Connor McCluskey? Zachary Vanier? Does Clark Webster sign nullifying his NCAA eligibility? Sign a free agent?
What are your thoughts?

I doubt they call up somebody out of province, though it would be two weekend games...

McCluskey, Josh Nicholson, Sean Stewart...did they leave Keenan Gillis on their protected list?
Considering how short Vanier's time was at camp I wouldn't expect him to see any Q action this season.

For sure, no risk in giving him a few games to see if he is worth keeping around.

For sure, no risk in giving him a few games to see if he is worth keeping around. Article in Times Transcript suggests they view him as a three year player ... Hopefully he is a diamond in the rough and turns out as we can use another D-Man. But they need to limit expectations when getting a player other teams passed on acquiring. We have seen the same thing in the past for players who haven't turned out. For example Ryan Mooney .. “We are really excited to have a player as skilled as Ryan join our back end; and a rare right shot defenceman. Ryan is only 17 and we will look to him for years to come as our power play QB, we would like to welcome him to the Moncton Wildcats!” said Director of Hockey Operations, Roger Shannon.

Hopefully he turns out as well as Seitz has for the cats. Nothing to lose here, he was a high draft pick so might as well take a chance. There has to be more to his release and passing through the OHL waivers than we know. There has to be another bad OHL team that would be interested, they wouldn't lose anything in picking him up and trying him like the cats are.

How did Auger look tonight? I thought he looked decent in limited playing time. They could really use another guy they feel confident in the top 4 as the Aspirot/Welsh pairing is eating a ton of minutes. Not sure he's the guy to balance out Le Coultre who is fun to watch & plays hard but makes a ton of high risk plays. I'd be interested to see if he'd help out PP2 as they really haven't gotten much going. He just got here so a little too early to make any judgements one way or another. Mika Cyr is quite the highlight reel player. If he had scored on that falling shot tonight that would have been an incredible. Pelletier is something to watch..i find myself constantly reminding myself hes 16. They utilize him as a veteran in key situations and I can't blame them..he back checks harder than anyone on the team..unsure why a few posters were questioning his defensive play or comparing him to Garland. This guy is as 2-way as it gets.
