We have a three game road trip this weekend and all games are against teams below us in the standings ... not very often we can say that. BC on Friday night ... Chic at 5:00 PM on Saturday ... Shaw at 5:00 PM on Sunday.
No games are ever easy for this year's team so there are no gimmees. But the order of the games is from strongest to weakest. I think the toughest game will be Saturday with the 5:00 PM start ... on the big ice of Chicoutimi. That game will go on short rest in one of the tougher rinks to play in.
Could we win 3 games ... take 6 points? I'd be very happy with 5 points and disappointed with less than 5.
Are we missing anybody ?

Anderson MacDonald won't be back in time for Friday's game but will be back in the lineup Saturday. Hodge hasn't reported any injuries so it would seem everyone is healthy.

I'd be satisfied with 4 points and anything more would be great.
Anything on Khovanov's arm/wrist?

Three winnable games so if they want to move up the standings this is a great chance to start that upward trajectory. The way Gatineau has been going 10th place might not be out of reach if the Cats could ever put some wins together.
Baie-Comeau will be tough. They've won their last four games at home including wins over Bathurst and Charlottetown so that won't be easy at all.
That said anything less than 4 points would have to be considered a disappointment.

I would say the hardest rink to play in lately is Baie-Comeau. They got 4 straight home games won: Bathurst Charlottetown Gatineau Cape-Breton

Hmmm ... why isn't Irving flying MacDonald from Toronto to BC ... get the Irving jet out of the hangar.

Hmmm ... why isn't Irving flying MacDonald from Toronto to BC ... get the Irving jet out of the hangar. The two BC rookies, Bouchard and Fortier, were also missing. This is a Drakkar team who might finish higher than expected.....

Phelan and Khovanov suspended for today’s game against Chicoutimi.
Kuzmin is sick. Pataki is out with a hand injury.

I just noticed we don't have a single Quebec born forward in the system. Would have been a good night to play Boulianne had we not traded him.

First multi-point game in the Q for Khovanov today - hopefully many more to come ...
Nice gesture by Shawinigan to name Welsh and Sylvestre the first two stars in their return home ...
