Healthy scratch, must have cut ties with him. no point playing him at this point. Incorrect! He sucks, he should not play another game for the Cats if they have an alternative.

He sucks, he should not play another game for the Cats if they have an alternative. When he was pulled early in his last start in PEI where he gave up 2 goals on 3 shots in 2:20 of play ... he came off swinging his stick in the corridor behind the bench. I expect that the team was disciplining him ... or he dislocated his gimpy shoulder again during the stick swinging. Waite had several good games last year in losing efforts because of the inept team in front of him ... he'd have to keep the GA under 2 last year for his team to win ... had many bad games also. He looked like he'd be a decent goaltender going forward but that just has not panned out. I wonder if he is facing colliding philosophies where his Goaltending Coach is telling him one thing and his NHL Goaltending Coach Father is telling him something different. I get it that he gets hung out to dry too often ... but sometimes you have to make a few saves to bail out your defense also.

I would think they would all have to go! Isn't the assistant normally responsible for the defence development?

Yeah, I thought Rumble had done a good job up until this year. Have the Cats ever been good defensively in his time here though?
No matter what happens with the bid I think the wildcats have to make changes.

Playoffs..... what would be the point of that(Rumble). This team will not get beyond first round, probably and likely go down four straight. Question I would have is how many fans regular and STH are going to bother with playoff packages. The teal looks like a ship lost at sea, they are terrible defensively and half the team looks like they quit. At this point no way Rumble is back next year, so make a change to shake things up and see who wakes up. While I do agree with your assessment( last season the basement dweller team and this season just four up from that spot), don’t think anything will happen until well after the season is done, I just don’t see the point of it as just one home game left. Correct me if I am wrong but there are some very serious holes to fill in all aspects of this team if the intent to contend and make a MC run. How to fill the holes is way beyond me and as I see it, the MC bid is more of a marketing statement in order to hype the first year at the new facility.

They must be reading the message boards. I'm surprised it's not Gaudreault if it was for a longer period of time. Could also be because paradis’ team is done(I honestly don’t know) and gaudreualts season is still on going Paradis had a strong season in Midget AAA - he is a 2001 kid who will be 17 next year. Gaudreault had a great year in Junior AAA, Alec MacDonald had pretty good stats in Jr A - both will be 18 next year. Appears we will have a good battle in camp for the backup goalie job.
