Any info on possible high prospects would be appreciated, or a what position Moncton will pick from ? Thanks Moncton has the 18th pick in the first round, plus a couple of 2nd round picks. Top prospect is Josh Lawrence of Fredericton, but he is probably going NCAA. Strong year for local prospects, Lukas Cormier of the Flyers should go top 10 and possibly top 5, 2-3 other Flyers should go in the first 2-3 rounds.

I think he was referring to the CHL import draft...

where can one find rating of players for regular draft, like CSR draft rankings in previous years? This weekend is the Gatorade Challenge in Blainville. Central Scouting will meet next week. Expect the rankings to be released by May 4th.

where can one find rating of players for regular draft, like CSR draft rankings in previous years? If your asking for a CSR Euro list, no such thing exists. Basically have to wait and see who the pick is and run straight to eliteprospect.com and do your own scouting by reading numbers.

They have put one together in the past, not sure if they still do...but it was only sent to teams and not public.

In saying that I have to ask are you sure? I’m asking in just not debating with you just asking I never heard that is all.

Likely something they did at the U17 and U18 tournaments.

Am I wrong in assuming that some of the euro draft is more so a who ya know type deal. As in agent of player A knows owner\gm\coach etc of team and they make an arrangement for the team to draft certain player and him to happily report.

Bang on ... there are usually a handful of better known players who are widely known to be interested in coming over that are more or less up for grabs to anyone (or at least anyone willing to meet their price tag), after that it becomes a case of who you know ... agents/NHL contacts/friends playing or coaching in Europe etc.

Does Grigori Denisenko play in KHL next season or in the CHL? he could be a impact player.
