The Sea Dogs host the Wildcats this afternoon at the Station.
The Sea Dogs won their last game against the Titan 6-1 where as the Wildcats lost to the Screaming Eagles in a shoot out on Friday.
The Sea Dogs have been playing better in December than their record shows.
Hoping for a close game.
Go Sea Dogs Go!!!

If the boys come out anything close to last game's intensity, this could make for an interesting opening to the game.

Only frustrating part of the game was the Sea Dogs 5 on 3 powerplay. Looked like a 1 trick pony out there trying for the cross crease pass over and over again that wasnt there. Looks like they were afraid to try anything different and wasted the PP.
Other than that they played a solid defensive game keeping inside shots to a minimum and getting the puck out and not allowing rebounds. Denisov looked on top of his game. Glad to get a win when all the Wildcats fans were in the building.

What does Dixon see in W. Poirier? He's slow, soft, plays un-interested, not a leader and yet he is out in every situation, PP, PK, OT, whatever. Took a horrible penalty on the 5-3, but was out right away.
Good fighting game from the boys. Some nice, clean open ice hits. D played solid. Too bad for Stairs for hitting the post on the empty net. He plays like he belongs in this league.
Thought the shots on goal were skewed a bit, but looks better on Denisov and worse on Leclerc.

It was a good day all around as Gatineau beat Blainville and are now tied with them.

Nice win for the boys today. It didn’t seem like we only got 11 shots today. Especially in the first period we were around the net a lot and directed More shots to the net that either went wide or got blocked.

Don't look now but the Sea Dogs are actually .500 in their last 10 games. If they're not careful they might actually make the playoffs and drop to 9th pick in the import draft.

Your team is so confusing. They'll get their asses handed to them against anyone, but then you beat Moncton and Charlottetown.
I think they're better than their record shows, they just need consistency and confidence.
