Great win. Have to admit I was certainly not expecting four points on this road trip. Happy for Lavallee. Looks pretty silly that they “couldn’t” start him the last couple months.
Would love to start seeing more efforts at home like the one today.

Wildcats win what was the 3rd game in 3 nights. In the meantime, Rimouski was rested, having had a day off yesterday.

He wasn't awful ... but he seemed to be all over the place and caught out of position often ... but he won so give him another start. He had quite a bit of puck luck. |

Torchetti and co are probably stunned, likely expected him to get lit up. They did not trust him against Bathurst and SJ but start him against Rimouski...~facepalm~ |

He certainly has some work to do.. Especially with positioning once he's down. But most 16 year old goalies have things to work on. The second goal he definitely should have stopped but the other 2 he can't be blamed. He was good enough to justify giving him more playing time than he's gotten in recent weeks. |

Perhaps Torchetti didn't like what he saw when he got here and is working with the kid. Any chance the coach knows what he's doing?
