Are you serious? I would rather say that Leclerc has been the Cats best player so far and kept them in both games. That is more accurate. Moncton has scored three pretty soft goals so far on Gravel. Those goals don't go in, and both games feel a lot different. Gravel at times has been excellent in the playoffs, but has been prone to the softy every once in a while. The 3-1 SH goal from Cyr Saturday night was a momentum shifter. What he is saying is that Gravel was the Moose savior so far. I digress! IMO the difference was the Moose 1st line who have been phenomenal.....

He said Gravel was the CATS most valuable player. Meaning that because of the soft goals he let in he helped keep the Cats in the games.

Looks like it should be around 5000 in the building tonight. The Cats have setup a "supporter section" in Section 113. They were a little late getting it announced but I think its a great idea and relatively innovate for the Q.
It would be a boost to the atmosphere struggles in the regular season especially if you had the right group.

Only rowdy fans there so they don’t disturb the cranky old season ticket holders like Steve UL? (o:

(o: They have it setup as a promo code on ticket master so the only way you can unlock the tickets is to get the promo code from social media which advertised the section. The tickets are still regularly priced its just encouraged that you make noise if you want to sit there. Based on the European model essentially. My guess is they moved a bunch of the booster club there to get it started (they 10-15 of them there for the Baie Comeau games). Looks like around 75 tickets have been sold in that area. I think the only way it works in the regular season next year is if they ask current season ticket holders if they'd like to move there. I think they thought with the club seats all being on one side you'd end up with all the die hards on the other and you'd generate more noise that way. However those sections are quite large and the louder fans are still spread out, some are also on the ends since the tickets were cheaper.

They tried this a few years ago at the Coliseum and it never caught on ... Might as well just bring in Crazy Claude, Jungle Man or Lyndon Slewedge to fire up the crowd for the big game - or better yet, maybe they could lower Khovanov and Sylvestres jerseys from the scoreboard at centre ice for inspiration ...

I don't recall the attempt at the Coliseum. The guys were loud in 113 for the Baie Comeau series, of course its always going to be easier to make noise for the playoffs. The Jungle Man would have lots of room to move around at the Ice Bar PRESSURE!!

Security should absolutely make them remove those shirts.

And these would be the type of visiting fans who then claim they were insulted/threatened/harassed by home fans ... yet fail to see how they brought it on themselves. The sad thing is some relatively innocent Moose fan who just happens to be in the vicinity of these yahoos will end up being the victim ...

Twitter says he's from Moncton. Sounds like someone trying to stir something.

Security should absolutely make them remove those shirts. I disagree. They are making fools of themselves but I don't see it as worthy of having security asking them to remove the shirts.

Reminds me of the sign a few Moncton fans brought to Saint John last year that said Fuck Saint John.
