Not sure if Bathurst will finish that low but they will almost for certain be the lowest rated Maritime Team . Like I said, I used a random number generator and the Titan got a few bad rolls while the Dogs got a few good ones. Personally I think Bathurst should be favored in the 1v1 matchup, Bathurst has more and better quality veteran players. That said, Saint John has 2 solid goaltenders and better young players. Preseason doesn't mean much, but it's encouraging to see Anderson MacDonald scoring. There's no point in arguing with chsb, but, the Titan are a few bad rolls away from 12th place. Looking at it again, I should have probably put a few OTL in the Titan's favor which would put them above DRU. Regardless, it's just fun BS. You probably should have indeed.... The Titan defense and goaltending is underrated. Berube will be a factor in most games while the veteran Ds will greatly help the young core. As for scoring, I have to say again that Kidney reminds me of Morand at 16 but with better vision. He has been instrumental to 60% of MacDonald's goals in preseason and will probably center the 2nd line and be on a PP unit.

You said the same thing last year at this time, after acquiring Grametbauer. So can we expect you to throw Berube under the bus next year, like you did Grametbauer this year?

What I saw of Berube last Saturday makes me confident that he will steal a few games this season. The Titan Brass like to define him as a top-5 goaltender. I would say he is a top-7.

Gravel Welsh Rodrigue Ellis Samson Cote-Cazenave Shank Nope. Not top-7. I think I'd fit Mandolese in there somewhere too, but that's is a good list, maybe Boutillier as well. And who knows what we get from Hlavaj in Sherbrooke. I also expect Jonathan Lemieux to have a breakout campaign. It's a good year for goalies overall, but Berube probably does hover around that top 10 area.

But yeah Mandolese can go into there.

Well in that case pencil in Cole McLaren as top-two. What if he'd have had a bad game? Would you have said he was the worst starter in the league from the dame one-game sample size?

Would you have said he was the worst starter in the league from the dame one-game sample size? Berube was offered to the Titan in 2018 for a 1st, a 2nd and a prospect. The Titan decided to take a cheaper alternative in Fitzpatrick. But it did not mean that Berube was not thought to be a very good goaltender. So the evaluation can vary widely from one source to another.

I'm going to do you the courtesy of assuming that was an auto-correct and not that you forgot the name of your Memorial Cup winning goaltender.

Bizier and a 2nd for Berube and Durocher.
