Wow after a tight first period, we have really blown it open in the second ( 4 goals so far). Fortier already with two assists, Groulx another goal and Andersson finally got his first as a cat!

Desnoyers hurt in the 2nd period! Has Desnoyers returned on the ice? No. The lines have been mismatched since his injury. Really ruined the flow they had going

Lineup looks good. Can’t wait to add Khovanov and McIsaac to the mix

Looks like Dow had a solid game and Groulx was a beast of faceoffs. From what I saw Horvath took him into the boards a bit awkwardly but, he did skate off by himself. I missed the initial contact and they never showed the replay so I'm not sure if the hit was questionable or not. Anyway, honestly the Wildcats looked like they will need a few weeks to really get going with this new group, which is impressive since they still scored 7. Everything is still a bit off, guys getting used to each other, and of course there's a bit of you're playing a bottom feeder so, nobody is going all-out. This is gonna be an exceptional team down the stretch, enjoy it!

If they can add a pile of high end young players next year, it would be a fun year. the WC should be great this year but if they have little to rebuild with it could be a tough 2-3 years.

It will take a bit to gel, but let’s hope not too long.

Sometimes the chemistry never develops (see the Drakkar last year.) The good thing about the guys the Wildcats added is they're all great character players, so I don't really foresee that kinda thing happening. Fortier and Groulx and former QMJHL captains, and McIsaac and Groulx have been conditioned from day 1 to share that spotlight, going 1 and 2 in the Q draft. slightly off topic, but, this will now be 5 head coaches in 4 years for both players haha.
