Personally, I think they would be foolish not to at least bring Lund-Cornish to camp to compete for a job. Especially until Usnik actually makes it to Moncton, which is no foregone conclusion, and they see if he is actually up to the task of being a Q starter (he is not a blue chip Euro, and has played mostly in lower calibre leagues - he may or may not be good enough to play in the Q). I can see Katz being a guy they wait a year on to bring to camp ... Sheehan and DiMattia are inside the bubble and won't need to quarantine upon arrival. Yeah, Katz I don't see them bringing in at 16, let the kid develop and show up at being a lock if he has a good year.

I see that the Titan and CB just released their camp rosters. I wonder how long until the other teams follow suit. You’d have to imagine that some of the players are already in Moncton so that they could do their quarantine.

Their travel plans are still being confirmed.

Some of them will not have to isolate if they are already part of the Atlantic Bubble. I’d imagine that the players already here are probably the kids from Ontario/Quebec that would need to isolate. So likely means that 20ish of the invites are Atlantic Canadians. Looking back at people’s camp roster predictions, I think most people assumed there would be 14 to 16 non-Atlantic Canadians at camp so this makes sense. Probably had to replace the Americans with more local kids.

According to the Q, they are still waiting for government approval on all foreign players, US and Euro. It shouldn't be that complicated. They should be just treated like the Temporary Foreign Workers are. They get off the plane and immediately go into quarantine for at least 14 days, and are tested at least twice during that quarantine. The same with any Americans.

The only difference is they aren’t a temporary foreign worker so there’s going to be more hoops to jump through to get someone here who isn’t providing anything to the economy or doing work that others won’t do. While I agree it should be a cut and dry situation, nothing with the government ever is so they’ll make it as difficult as possible.

Did the Wildcats post their pre-season roster yet? They’re the last maritime team to post. I wonder if it has something to do with trying to figure what they’ll do with Americans. I expect that they really want a guy like Seamus Campbell on the camp roster but just can’t get him in now so they are waiting to see what they can figure out. Otherwise I have no idea what they would be waiting on.
