Did the Wildcats post their pre-season roster yet? They’re the last maritime team to post. I wonder if it has something to do with trying to figure what they’ll do with Americans. I expect that they really want a guy like Seamus Campbell on the camp roster but just can’t get him in now so they are waiting to see what they can figure out. Otherwise I have no idea what they would be waiting on. Halifax has a couple of Americans on the list. |

So we start with a list of 34, and at some point we'll make cuts. But like any season we'll probably add players and subtract players through the year. So is there a date where players can be added after training camp ? If we cut the training camp list to say 28, can we add 6 more players to bring it back to 34 ? If BO Groulx has no place to play in October, can he be added in then ?

The only Americans on the maritimes teams lists seem to be guys who played on their teams last year and all the teams are saying that they will report later. |

They will only report later if the Federal Government changes its rules. Right now only essential persons are allowed in from any country. Junior hockey players are not deemed to be essential. |

What about international students? In Halifax’s case they can say Jones is going to SMU for classes. Now I don’t know all the rules but from what I do understand is they are allowing students. In saying that I think SMU is going mostly on line but pick another school to unroll him into that’s not just online. |

Uhhh, Am I blind or are Rozzi and Hopkins not listed on the roster? I thought Rozzi and Hopkins signed with the Cats? |

No MacLellan, Rozzi, or Hopkins would seem to be the biggest surprise omissions, along with Seamus Campbell that was largely expected. Gabriel Fortier and Owen Stammer would be the surprise attendees - Stammer has played the NCAA card so far ... |

18F 11D and 4G for 33 plus 2 Euros A few surprises... Fortier on the list, might mean tB would rather see him play another year in the Q over AHL...or just a contingency in case the AHL season is delayed. No Hopkins or Rozzi? I had them as a locks to make the team. Wilson listed as a forward? I thought he showed promise on D and was hoping he would make the roster. others who were mild surprises...Campbell(US) crooks Keough Vollett Nutbrown plus Walker whom I had heard was coming to camp. Campbell might be a similar issue to the Euros, dealing with red tape. |

But Rozzi and Hopkins not being on the roster is really concerning. Considering Iasenza is on the roster, I think it means that Hopkins and Rozzi haven’t committed to the team. Fortier is kind of a nice surprise, but we’ll see what happens there. |

They must be working on something so US kids can come, that would screw up the OHL and WHL big time. i would assume the cats could add Campbell and maybe others once that is dealt with. |
