This is based on the 2nd half roster. Grades are based on skill level.
Goalies
Rodrigue-B+
Overall had a solid year, maybe slightly below expectations, was up and down in the 1st half.
Cornish-B
Mostly played solid, a couple shutouts and generally gave the team a chance to win.
Defensemen
McIsaac-A
as advertised he came in and was a stud, played in all situations and against top lines.
Spence-A
Continued his development from last year, improved defense and strong offense once again.
Andersson-C
Looked very good early on but was not the force he was expected to be, especially offensively, settled in as a solid #3 guy.
DeJong-A
Took a nice step forward from last year, played a shutdown role with McIsaac and did it well, chipped in some offense and showed a physical edge.
Huntley-B-
Did not have the offensive impact anticipated when he was acquired last season but he had a strong year defensively, played as a steady #4-5 guy.
S.Stewart-B+
Also took a nice step forward this season, played a steady defensive game, made the simple outlet passes and brought a physical edge. Was #6 but would be a #4-5 on most teams.
MacLellan-D+
I expected a bit more from a 19 year old veteran, played a fair bit with the injury to Andersson, never seemed to find his grove.
Forwards
Pelletier-A-
Once again played a strong two way game and was a factor every night.
McKenna-B
Pretty much as expected, came back and put up strong offensive numbers, good PP finisher.
Khovanov-A
Took a big step forward offensively as one of the best forwards in the Q, still took a few dumb penalties but not as many as last year.
Groulx-A+
Came in and took a very big role, played against top lines and still put up impressive numbers, deadly on the PP and PK.
Fortier-B+
Strong 2 way player, formed a very good duo with Groulx, numbers bumped up on a stronger team.
Cyr-C+
Not a terrible year but took a bit of a step backwards, seemed to be the biggest loser of all the midseason trades.
L'heureux-A
Pretty much as much as can be expected from a rookie 16 year old, would have had better numbers if not for Groulx and Fortier coming in to take some of his ice time.
Desnoyers-C
had a solid start but really faded(5pts the last 18 games) when not playing on the top 2 lines.
Daoust-A
Got better as the season went on, strong on the puck for his size. good on the cycle.
Hudson-D
Toom a step backwards offensively, the most disappointing player on the roster.
Leonard-C-
Brought a physical edge but not much more.
J.Stewart-D+
Seems stuck in neutral, skating is a major issue. In and out of the lineup after trades.
Foreman-C+
took a bit of a step forward offensively. has not yet developed into a shutdown player.
Langlois-C-
had a strong camp and showed a few flashes during the season, but not a lot of progression, lost in the numbers game late in the season.
