Dear Sea Dogs Season Ticket Members,





We are so happy to send you this email. Hockey is back!



At a time where we could all use a little bit of “normal” in our lives, the Sea Dogs will be playing hockey at TD Station this season. They will not only be playing hockey, but this young and talented core is looking to start a three-year stretch competing at the top of the standings.



Off the ice, as you know, this season will look different than any other in history. We’re very fortunate to have Sea Dogs action back at TD Station and safety is going to be top of mind for all of us. Together we must follow the important guidelines that Public Health, the Government of New Brunswick, and the QMJHL have mandated.



As a result, TD Station and the Sea Dogs have made necessary changes to arena operations including seating plans and capacity. Some of the bigger changes include very limited capacity (around 25% of seats), social bubbles, and masks once you get inside TD Station. Also, because of all the changes to the seating plan, you shouldn’t expect to sit in your same seat, and possibly not in your same section as last season. The puck drops at TD Station with our regular-season Home Opener on Saturday, October 3rd and even earlier on September 1st with our first pre-season game.



There have been a lot of big additions to the team since the season was ended abruptly back in March.



Two future Boston College Eagles, Fredericton’s Peter Reynolds and Hammonds Plains’ Cam MacDonald de-committed to join the Port City Team. The Dogs added size and physical presence with a trio of trades acquiring 19-year-old defenseman Christopher Inniss, 19-year-old forward Nicholas Girouard, and 20-year-old forward Liam Leonard. Back in June, the Sea Dogs selected twice in the first round of the 2020 QMJHL Draft, selecting power forward Leighton Carruthers third overall and two-way defenseman Nathan Drapeau fifteenth overall.



The team also made a major addition off the ice, hiring former NHL Head Coach, former AHL and OHL Coach of the Year, and three-time Stanley Cup Champion, Greg Gilbert to lead the team behind the bench.



With growing excitement around the team and a limited number of seats available due to social distancing, we anticipate that only those who have season tickets will be able to get a seat at the Sea Dogs games this year.



Fortunately, because you were a Season Ticket Member last season, you have first chance at securing seats.



With the limited number of fans in the arena, and the growing cost of ensuring safety for our fans, players, and staff, prices have changed for this season. Season Ticket Member pricing is as follows:





Tickets can be purchased at the TD Station Box Office beginning on Monday, August 24th. You are welcome to stop by TD Station with your social bubble to purchase your tickets. For individuals that will be paying for full bubbles through one payment card, tickets can be purchased through the TD Station Box Office over the phone [phone]) or online via our online store at store.saintjohnseadogs.com (beginning August 24th). Due to COVID-19 Contact Tracing, all personal information must be filled out accurately and completely.



First choice for Season Tickets for existing Season Ticket Members will be available until September 14th. After this day, Season Tickets will be made available to the public. A reminder this does not affect your reserved seat for the 2021-2022 season. If you wish to take a year off during this time, we fully understand.



We want to enjoy Sea Dogs hockey together again and are here to help as much as we can. Lots of people will sitting in different seats. No aisle seats, no even rows, no standing by the rails and spaces between bubbles. Some will have to move from lower to upper bowl. Ps please dont yell at the staff, they are doing the best they can in tough times.

I agree that getting upset with, and especially yelling at, the staff is inappropriate.

Fans really need to get together and form group bubbles if they want to maximize the number of useable seats this season.

Well that did not go to bad. I would say most people will be getting new seats based off what I was hearing from the many ticket holders at TD Station getting their tickets.

BY starting off at the first seat available in the row #2 (as seat first and last seat are not in use and odd number rows only)your bubble started. Then after you purchased the qty needed for the bubble, the next three (3) seats were closed off. So if you had three in your bubble - you bought seats 2-4 and then seats 5-7 were blocked off. Everyone understood from what I could hear.

Issue is if you bought online - you could not pick your seat - the Sea Dogs/TD Station were going to contact you to see where you want to go. Over the phone and in person purchase got you your seats right then.

Also included in the package are the three (3) preseason games, and when you pickup your ticket on the 28th of September you will also get a Sea Dogs mask.

So pre-season for the Dogs starts next Tuesday. Have my mask which is mandatory getting in and walking around the arena. Mask can come off at your seat. No Standing next to the rails. Still things to work on before the season starts.

Picked up our tickets today. Had to change our seats . I’d much rather change seats then no hockey at all. There seemed to be a steady stream of people into TD station all morning an afternoon. Good to see I’m not the only one who’s got that hockey itch. Can’t wait to get back in watching hockey . Go Dogs Go .

Happy to hear, Teams in NS are getting close. Just a question since I imagine must teams will follow a similar model. Say I buy one season ticket and one 15 pack this is per Halifax's tickets. But the people using the 15 pack vary, I have the contact information for all the people that usually use the 15 Pack. So if I was to give them the number and names of the 4 people that mostly use the 15 pack that should be okay. but everyone will likely be moved I was in Section 27 last year in the middle and had seats 4-5 so say for example I'm able to get 4-5 again does that mean all the seats around me would be blocked off? would appreciate any insight from anyone who has thoughts on what they may do in Halifax and has been in the Scotiabank centre.

At Td station they are blocking off all isle seats, and every second row so there’s nobody immediately in front or behind you. And in your situation here you would be moved to seats 2-3 and then seats 4,5,6 are unavailable to anybody. And I’m not sure how Halifax is doing it but here . There are no options for flex tickets or 20 games packs etc. season tickets only for the time being as the building can only be 25% full .

That is a nice looking schedule. Too bad more people wouldn't be able to attend with all the Weekend games and the Team being better attendance could have been really good this year. But I guess if it wasn't for Covid they wouldn't be having all the weekend games.

The Dogs posted this yesterday. I wonder what the total attendance allowed will be . I read that Cape Breton will be allowing 1750 fans in the building.

Hopefully we will have around the same or closer to 2000.

Each province has it's own regulations.

I believe TD Station will be around 1,500 as NB Gov stipulated 25% capacity.

Halifax will be something like 1,400 - 1,600

Currently, PEI is at 100.
