Listening to the GNB press conference, and it sounds like the Wildcats will not be travelling due to the Moncton region being moved to COVID orange level.

Although, they are slated to play in Halifax tonight and are likely already there or at least en route. Perhaps they will play tonight and travel directly from Halifax to Saint John before returning to the Moncton orange zone?

Yeah as far as I know, the game in Halifax is a go so I’m assuming they left this morning which means they’ll just go right to Saint John

Wouldn't surprise me if this weekend's games are the last for a little while. For everyone, not just the Wildcats.

If things get really bad in Moncton, it could easily make it's way here, as well as the rest of the Maritimes. I doubt it will be bad enough to close up the Atlantic bubble but the possibility exists. Then you have what's going on in Quebec with a few teams already impacted. I don't think the whole season will be shut down but I Woildnt be surprised if it gets pit on hold until further notice after this weekend.

I agree ....I am actually a little surprised that Moncton is even still in Halifax .

Confirmed on the radio broadcast that the Wildcats will not return to Moncton so they will go from Halifax to SJ for the game tomorrow night.

Tonight’s game has been postponed. Better safe than sorry. I think it’s a wise move.

Tonight’s game has been postponed. Better safe than sorry. I think it’s a wise move. Still, unless there are some confirmed cases or suspect cases on the Wildcats team I don't see why they wouldn't be able to play tonight. If it was good enough to play in Halifax and the players stay away from Moncton, it should still be the ok for the Saint John game. Anyway, they decided differently.

Yeah you’d think if that was the case, the Halifax/BAthurst game isn’t postponed tomorrow then it makes no sense. Well it does but doesn’t at the same time

Well it does but doesn’t at the same time COVID19 gives no care about whether it was ‘good enough’ to play in Halifax last night. It is EXTREMELY contagious, and honesty from a public health perspective I wish Halifax turned them around and sent them home. I hope we can snuff this out. This is a responsible move, which hopefully leads to hockey as usual in a couple of weeks.

Yeah but my point was that if there worried about Moncton players having it hence the postponement, it’d only make sense to postpone Halifax/Bathurst because odds are if Moncton had it, Halifax will get it then now bathurst will get it.
