I admit it is unclear, but my understanding is that venues are limited to 50% capacity, but must also adhere to a 2 meter distance between pods. If that is, in fact, the case, the actual capacity of the Avenir Center would be much less than 50%, and in fact would vary depending on how big each pod is. I do not envy the front office staff and the headache this must have caused with a whole 3 days notice. I get why they did it this way - as a season ticket holder it's not the most convenient, but I think I'd rather have the option of buying on ticketmaster and having "some" choice in seating than being randomly assigned seats. If SJ is doing first-come, first-serve for the best seats, what time today does the line start for tomorrow's game?

For Saturday, you physically cannot get into the pedway until an hour and half before the game and the doors to Harbour Station open an hour before the game. Honestly speaking, Saturday's situation is likely to last (at best).

No, it's pretty clear that the Wildcats management does not value their season ticket holders. A week before Christmas and their only resolution is buy other tickets and we will reimburse you at the end of the season? That's a slap in the face to their ticket holders. I understand they can't give everyone their original seats because of pods, but they had enough time to call them and offer them tickets for no charge especially if they know where they sit and how many there are.

It was. There was absolutely no energy amongst the crowd at all. Barely any noise for the two goals the cats scored or any of the hits. I think it hurt the cats big time tonight.

I understand they can't give everyone their original seats because of pods, but they had enough time to call them and offer them tickets for no charge especially if they know where they sit and how many there are. Imagine having 4 adult season tickets and having to fork out an additional $88 every game after already having given the team $2000. I'm just a single ticket but many others have multiple. There's absolutely no excuse for not having a better plan by the game on the 28th. Someone with an excel spreadsheet could reassign seats to the bubbles and email your new seat locations within a couple of days even if they for whatever reason can't have the system do it. We're all adults here and we'll politely figure out where our seats are. Print out some pieces of paper with the seat holders name on it or something just in case and tape it on. Literally every solution is better than this one. What was the attendance tonight 1200? The idea that I couldn't use one of my redemption tickets is laughable. If they are worried about a sell out they could have had redemptions open on Friday. The idea is so bad that I can only hope that some crazy contract with ticketmaster is what's causing this. I've personally enjoyed the Wildcats product this year, this team delivers a solid effort almost every night, there have been notable improvements from the non hockey side of the team over the years and I feel I'm getting pretty good value so far.. but this is an unforced error.

As a senior in sitting section 115, I paid $475 (HST & Fees included) for my season ticket or $13.97 per game ($475 / 34 games) if you don’t count the two free extra tickets included in the STH package. I am now required to pay $22 to see a game for which I already have a ticket and I’ll get a credit of $13.97 for that game when I renew my season ticket next year assuming I’ll still want to be a STH. Yea, that sounds like good PR for the team. Bravo!

with Moncton opening an OA slot wonder if there's a possibility they acquire Chisholm from the Titan.
