Moncton’s 1st pick in the American Draft appears to be a good one.
Finished 2nd in tournament scoring with 21 points in 9 games. The player who finished 1st went 1st overall in the USHL Draft.

Not that Ritchie isn't a credible source, but to me that sounds a bit optimistic - I will believe it when I see it. For one, we haven't seen anyone in the league having much success with the American draft, the few players who have showed up tend to be lower end guys with limited options NCAA-wise. If Connor really is an elite player, I am skeptical he is considering major junior. Secondly, the COVID factor ... while border restrictions are slowly easing, I am not so sure that 6-8 weeks from now things will be so loose as to allow for guys to easily pop in from out of country for a 48 hour tryout ... |

A pretty good goalie, don’t the his numbers fool you as he played for a very bad team last year, lol. I say that with the most amount of respect possible. I can’t see him sticking with the Wildcats because I think they might be looking younger, but anything can happen. |

I can’t see him sticking with the Wildcats because I think they might be looking younger, but anything can happen. I think they will want a 2001 to 2003 goalie to split time with Filion. Can't see them going with 2 kids under 18 with the division stacked. |
