True, but if he's getting traded for 3 players, it means that those three players are a combination of Euros and 20 YO. Very unlikely.

I team wanting to contend might trade 3 players for 1 while a team rebuilding would probably trade 1 player for 3 I think if you want to BS us all.at least make it more believable

Well, given the heinously poor spelling of the original poster, he could've been suggesting that Bartos was gonna be traded to CB for their players

But then it would have to be the non-Benda euro, Laberge, and Gallant. And why on God's green Earth would Bathurst want to clog up their 20 spots when they already have Svoboda and Clendenning as two of the better 20s in the league . Hence, the original post makes more sense as a sick joke intentionally mispelled to generate discussion.

plus the trade can't happen until Christmas Euros are like OAs....they can be traded any time. I'm not sure that is entirely true ... I think they can be traded outside a designated trading period when a team is forced into it by suddenly having 3 Euros ... remembering back to Shkotov/Karsums/Zakharov. Otherwise you'd see Euro's being dealt more often like we see 20 YO. Can you provide examples of Euros being traded outside of a trading period ... besides the type of examples I describe above.

Clearly defined in the rulebook Euros are the same as 20’s not sure what the rule 3.01.1.1. is but it’s not in the Q rules.
2.14.2 Trading Period The League declares that there will be three trading periods during the season. The first is held at the annual draft. The second in August and the third is held after the last game scheduled during mid-season until January 8th at noon. No trading shall be made outside these three periods, except for 20 year old players and the European players who may be traded at all times until January 8th at noon. In the case of European players, the by-laws of the CHL apply in compliance to the article 3.01.1.1.

Martin Kasik WRONG!!!! The Titan 1st acquired Martin Kasik from Cape Breton on June 15 (Draft day in Bathurst) Kasik was then traded to the Tigres on Jan 7. The next day, the Titan made the Hoffe - Vary deal. (I asume the trade deadline was still in effect!!!)
