Victoriaville was also desperate. Had to come out of gate fast and take control. Potentially going down 0-2 will do that sometimes.
It's a good learning experience. Now the Charlottetown players haven't faced adversity like this in over 2 years. I think the real team will show up in game 3.

They use our own game style against us. We were also a outplayed most of game 1 as well. They got come out and get the 1st one Friday. Stay out do the box !!! |

Nah, just tossing the first line out on the ice in an 8-4 game with under a minute left. Same thing. So Desrusseaux could have a chance at his 100th goal. Gimme a break. Halifax pulls that shit when they can. If you’re calling a spade a spade then it’s a bush league move by the Islanders. Like you can’t be upset that Victo wiped the floor with the Islanders but then think it’s okay to put a guy out with a minute left just so he can go stat chasing. I’m of the opinion and always will be, that if you don’t like getting your ass beat then play better. This isn’t youth or recreational sports, the other team shouldn’t take it easy on you just because they’re beating you. This is high caliber playoff hockey. If you don’t like being dominated then play better. |

The Islanders have to play their game. Warts and all. If they take penalties well they have all year. They play on the edge but they also have the goaltending, PK, and their own deep scoring to cover it to a point.
Take smart penalties not dumb ones. I know that's a tall order but the last thing they should do is tip toe around out there.
Now you will see how good a coach Jim Hulton is.
There is always room for improvement. They can be better. They haven't played a perfect period in this round. Also they know Victo's probably not going to play better or harder than they did to start off game 2. Anticipation is a huge factor.

Cool. Go out of your way to run up the score. That's worked out so well for Victo in the past. cringeworthy. You ran up scores as a great team. Shit happens when you're great and your opposition not so much. Next time...be great. Not like you don't have the ability. |

Yeah we’ve run up the score lots this year. It’s not Atom A, you play til the game finishes.
With multiple NHL talent, it’s not that difficult to score 9 goals when the Isles couldn’t even make a breakout pass to get out of their own end.
It was a terrible night, but game 3 is a new game. Shake it off and come out on fire.

With multiple NHL talent, it’s not that difficult to score 9 goals when the Isles couldn’t even make a breakout pass to get out of their own end. It was a terrible night, but game 3 is a new game. Shake it off and come out on fire. Exactly. And next year and the following year other teams will be scoring 9 on you more regularly. Thats the way it goes at this level. As a top team you don't cry about the other team scoring more goals. You suck it the hell up and go compete from 0-0 the next game. |
