SJ posted their announcement and said that Foston is in today.
With 13 forwards, we should have something resembling a regular season forward group

The @foreursvd exchange Olivier Picard + a 7th round pick in 2024 at the @sjseadogs.
In return, the #Foreurs get a 2nd round pick in 2022 (RN) and a 5th round pick in 2024. #LHJMQ

I don't know much about Picard. Obviously they didn't get him for his offense. Hopefully he is good defensively and can win some puck battle.
Not sure what the chance is in getting Mercuri to report but if they could, it would be a nice add.

I hope some of what we paid was in consideration of Mercuri reporting. A 2nd and a 5th seems like an overpayment to me for Picard. Time will tell I guess. |

At least neither team had very far to travel. Would have sucked if it was any non NB team (especially CB) to get most of the way to Fredericton then have to turn around.
