The Islanders and Sea Dogs face off in a Thanksgiving afternoon contest.
Saint John has had a slow start (vs. tough opposition) and will we looking to get into the win column. We will be looking to rebound following our first loss in Halifax on Saturday night.
Game time is 3:00 PM.

I think Saint John will be desperate for a win and will throw all they have at us. After Saturday night, I worry about how the Islanders sometimes don't play with a lot of fight/urgency, almost until it's too late. They can't take any team for granted.

I just caught after he went down I’m not sure. But I heard on the play x play that they thought he might’ve got clipped by a teammate, did not look good at all

I sit near where the skaters come in and out, the zamboni entrance, and he did not look good coming off the ice. Don't think he really knew where he was, could hardly move his legs. Very scary. Hoping he gets well soon.

Hopefully Simoneau isn’t out long term but that did not look good at all. I can't believe it took that long for the refs to stop play. We had possession and both teams were telling them to stop the clock. Not that I'd really expect professionalism from Q refs |

We had possession and both teams were telling them to stop the clock. Not that I'd really expect professionalism from Q refs Starzomski should be suspended from reffing for at least a month for that poor display. The referee is responsible for the well being of the players on the ice and has discretion to blow the whistle if a player is in trouble and clearly he was…He literally stood over Simoneau with the whistle in his mouth and looked around like a deer in headlights waiting for someone to tell him what to do. |

Agreed and Isle had possession…in their own end clear of any Dogs. Luaaoan had to ice it to get a whistle. |

He even fell over after trying to get up, and he didn’t blow it immediately did he? Just piss poor common sense. He was standing over talking to him the whole time, if he’s not able to say he’s good - you’ve gotta blow it.

He’s always highly regarded when it comes to his tenure of coaching on the Island but I agree I’m glad the Sooner Dwyer days are over on the Island for this franchise |
