The league has only posted the Hurtibuse deal…how many of these “proposed” deals are actually going to go through?
Obviously the league office has a lot going on right now…but I can’t see the Seadogs making all these deals right at the deadline? Am I stupid to be thinking this way?

Hurtibise was lights out last year in the Presidents Cup bubble.
I know most people didn't get to watch those playoffs but Val d'Or was a better team and so was Charlottetown. Hurtibise stole it for Victoriaville.
It's really unfortunate that the pandemic has overshadowed that playoff performance by the goalie.

They're hosting the Memorial Cup and are doing it all on the last day. But its as simple as entering a completed deal into a queue ahead of the deadline, not having everything completely signed off on before it. You could do 15 trades today if you wanted.

Willy Palov @willypalov · 3m Cam Russell: "The benefit of keeping the leadership group together for this year and the long run made more sense."
Mooseheads hang on to captain Elliot Desnoyers, stand pat at QMJHL trade deadline | SaltWire

Mooseheads hang on to captain Elliot Desnoyers, stand pat at QMJHL trade deadline | SaltWire ...the last thing Cam Russell expected to be quoted as saying today. Had weeks to declare his intentions. Why would you not say "nope, call all you like but he's going nowhere" vs let the speculation hang for weeks? Because this was the last thing he expected.

What can you tell us about the Pair of Kids we got for him ? Savoie has been injured a lot this year but he’s very skilled and loves to shoot the puck. McCluskey has produced very well in limited minutes. Both players have a strong compete level and should be solid top 6 adds. Savoie really didn’t make sense in a 4th/3rd line role and McCluskey got pushed out. I’d say these are two players that have potential to break out and be in a similar situation to stairs next year.
