Following a tough loss last night, both teams have to get ready to battle again this afternoon over in Halifax.
Goaltending will be the focus after Satny struggled with a couple last night, but the fact of the matter is that we need more than 2 goals to win on most nights.
Hopefully we will see a better effort today.
Game time is 3:00 PM.

Not looking good so far, not sure what it is vs the moose but they can’t seem to pull ahead. These are points the Islanders need to stay ahead.

That second period was about the worst defensive hockey I’ve seen from the Isles in a long long time breakdown and giveaway after giveaway.. they need To stop looking for that extra pass and get picks on the net more to. Team is trying to let Bathurst and SJ catch them.

To me, Cormier is not looking 100%. I hope they did not rush him back.
Mooseheads playing them tough. We are missing Boyd's big body in there today.
Lots of time left. Let's get going!

After coincidental penalties ended at end of 4 on 4. The Halifax player went to puck created turnover at center ice. Islander skater went straight by to the bench. This right out of box. In that scenario the player needs to cover the other guy out of box. That goal was a circus and totally changed momentum.
It was so bizarre. It's on coaching. On a regular SH situation it may be different but if the one team players goes directly into play and your team guy is busy skating to bench your team is outmanned.

I think Mooseheads are a team coming together late in season, decent team now and thinking Isles don’t wanna play them in playoffs… don’t match up good with them …anybody have thoughts?

Cormier must of had an issue with something. I noticed last night he didn't play on the PK at all. Still think maybe he's not 100%

Yeah, at this point I would rather play the Titan than the Moose. Just don’t match up well for whatever reason.

Last night in OT I don't think he was on the ice until well after the extra frame was half over. Like I said... doesn't look 100% at the moment. Cormier must of had an issue with something. I noticed last night he didn't play on the PK at all. Still think maybe he's not 100%

Sure is a bad time to go into a slump, these are games we should be winning, loosing to Moncton 1-0 should have never happened, this week we have Moncton on Tuesday and the Eagles Saturday and Sunday at home 3 games we have to win in order to keep in the number 1 spot overall.
