What are the odds the Isles can avoid the Seadogs, before the finals? If both win, they will play each other unless Quebec loses to Chicoutimi.

So they dont cross over until round 3? Yes, that is exact. First 2 rounds are within the conferences. The 4 remaining teams in round 3 are ranked according to the season points.

According to the schedule Eastlink showed last night, the Isles play the winner of the Remparts series. I found that odd. Also, a couple of huge upsets across the country. Out west. Vancouver, who had 53 points all year. beat Everett, who had 100 points. And in the OHL, Kitchener beat London in game 7. London finished like 25 points ahaead of the Rangers. Junior hockey at its best.

Junior hockey at its best. The only way that happens is if the Sags beat the Remparts....and that's not happening. The only other way we can avoid the Sea Dogs in Round 2 is if Rimouski wins that series. Then we'd be playing the winner of Bathurst\Halifax, providing we beat Moncton.
