The Islanders kicked off the 2022 post season with a bang last night. That was a big statement game from the club to open the post-season. It's the best I've seen them play in quite some time.
We will try to keep things rolling tonight. A win tonight will put the Wildcats in a big hole.
It was great to see Elliott back in the lineup. He stepped in and did exactly what we needed him to do.
Game time is 7:30 tonight.

I expect nothing different tonight then last night.....other then hopefully some better officiating. Players need to keep their cool....no unnecessary penalties,(despite their successes on the pk) and keep their PP rolling. At one point last night, Elliot was asking a Cat to dance.....but not taken. One thing we don't need is suspensions......so just play smart but hard in your face hockey. Roy looked very good last night!!

I expect Lemieux to be better tonight and for Moncton to come out strong. No way do they want to go down 2-0. I also expect the Islanders to bring the same intensity as they did last night.
I really wish the rink was louder. I've been to a number of Q rinks and ours is by far the least exciting. I don't know what it is about PEI people but cheering just doesn't seem to be a thing. Of course there always a few sections that are loud, but I would really love to see the fans get into it more. The Titan rink is about our capacity but it sounds about 4 times louder. Wish PEI fans could bring that.

Boyd taking warmups…but as usual with Hulton’s players returning from injury, I’m sure he’ll be scratched afterwards

Expecting the cats to come out stronger tonight, should be a dandy game. Hoping there is a new in house announcer the guy last night was awful. Need someone to make the goal announcements exciting and when the boys come on the ice. Go isles go

Do the Islanders 4th line ever play? Yep! Seriously I've watched the whole 2nd period and I didn't see them. Haven't seen them in the 3rd either. They have been stuck with the same stats line since the first period.
