Following the huge win last night, the Islanders will be looking to keep the pedal to the metal.
I know we'll see a big pushback from Sherbrooke.
Tonight could be one for the ages!
Game time is 7:00 PM.

Obviously a vastly different Sherbrooke team tonight. They have a lot more zip on their 3rd/4th lines than we have. We are really missing Gallant tonight. Hopefully he is available for game #3.
Sherbrooke is doing a great job of clogging up the middle. On the Cormier goal we were able to snap it around and open up some room and get one.
Alternatively, I wonder if we would have better luck trying to get some offense going by cycling the puck down low. I think we might be able to wear down their defencemen in this way.
Big period coming up.

Fuck that’s a tough one to lose not gonna be easy up in Sherbrooke but we need the split. Boyd had his arm in a sling during OT hopefully Gallant is back for game 3. Lapenna was solid go Isles go hope we can at least get the split or best case scenario win both

Hopefully that's not the last home game of the year. Had to lose a game at some point. Hopefully we at least split over there.

That was the Sherbrooke team I expected. Disappointing for the Islanders.

The swing of one game in a best of 5 is crazy…we win that one and we’re looking great heading to Sherbrooke. Lose one game and now you’re nervous that you’re not coming back home.
Hopefully we can win one up there Atleast.

In a regular playoff series (7 games) a game 2 loss is not that scary, in this 5 game series it's a lot more nerve inducing.
I fully expected this series to be tough. To come back from being down 3 nothing gives me some hope, though the ot loss was a heartbreaker.

They better wake up for games 3 and 4 or we'll be the Buffalo Bills of the Q.
