Can we take a pick even though 2 are on the roster? Or do we have to trade first? I'm pretty sure we can still make picks. We technically have 3 players in our system with Michkov being an import draft pick of ours. I think the rule is just that you can't have more than 2 imports in a game. |

There was an exemption for last year. We don't know what the rules are yet, but normally you would not unless Brabenec signed. That being said, unless there is a trade window tomorrow to trade Euros, the CHL might have to do another exemption due to when the Import draft is. |

Soon we should know some trade info as they get confirmed starting Saturday.. I hope we get a mix of young players and picks.

I heard our 20s will be Gallant, Stairs, and Trudeau. Trudeau could fetch a really good return at Christmas. Stairs could too if he has a strong year.
I can't believe this will be Gallant's final year. The sad part with junior, they aren't here long.

So I a little over an hour some deals will be made official rumour has it 19 year old Jake Squires will be an Islander by the end of the day. 1 name I’m really interested to see what happens is Franky does he get dealt today or later on..
