Rumour on the Cape board is that they’ve acquired Oliver Satny.

Doesn’t completely surprise me, he’s been off to a less than stellar start this season, but I guess this confirms we will keep Lapenna til Atleast the trade deadline.

Can’t imagine the return will be any significant picks, more so giving him a place to play while also giving Flanagan some games eventually.

Just saw on Elite Prospects that he has “left Charlottetown in a transaction” so there seems to be some truth to the rumour.

Don't know much about him other then his stats...

We grabbed him on waivers from the WHL. Bottom 6 guy not able to generate much offense at this level. Healthy scratch for us and we're not exactly deep.

So once Hulton has him for a week...probably a 20 goal guy by March

Seems like a small risk on both sides. CB looking to stabilize their goaltending and Cha having 3 plus adding a pick.

Reason as to why they kept Flanagan up with the team.

They like him a lot. They see him as a potential future #1.

To be honest, I thought it would be Lepenna moved.....or the player being sent to Armada......He could still be.

Do you have to send a player to BBA or do they just get picks back if you don't?

It looks like Trudeau has a spot in Laval for now, might change once Edmundson and Matheson are ready, trickle down would have Xhekaj and Schuenman to Laval.

I dont mind the deal tho i too thought lapenna would be the one moved but weak division and not owning our first makes some sense to accumulate as many points as possible in first half

I liked Repcik. Like Jack says, not gonna light the lamp but plays a hard game and I think he could do well under Hulton. He makes your forward group a little better.

The concern is he can't seem to make it stick wherever he lands, and the healthy scratches maybe suggest he wasn't trusted.

Lapenna is likely worth more at midseason once the contenders are showing up.

If Xmas comes and Lapenna is still a top 3 goalie in the league you absolutely have to cash in if there is a market, in my view.
