I expect to see Campbell up with the Isles full time after the trade period.....if not before.
In the 3 games that he suited up with the Isles, the 16yr looked like he could play with this team now, imo.
He's an energy player with some grit for the size of him....and he's showing some skill in Major Midget with Charlottetown Knights.
11gp 10g 6a 16pts 26PIM.
He's definitely lacking in the size department....but he's around the same size as Beauregard was...and plays a very similar style of game as Beau did.

Both Campbell and Evan Nicholson had fantastic showings at the Monctonian last weekend.
Hopefully both are in an Islanders jersey next season….or sooner!

Being a 10th rd draft pick, Nicholson could be another good find late in a draft for the Isles. He's currently sitting 4th overall in scoring in the NBPEIMU18HL. 17pts 13gp Ross Campbell sits 2nd overall in league scoring. 20pts 13gp 38pims

The Knights are very strong this year. Their win at the Monctonian serves notice to NB and NS that Charlottetown is looking to contend for the Maritime title and a spot at the national championship.
That kind of experience is great for our young prospects. I wonder if Hulton will try his best to keep Campbell, Nicholson, and Mossey playing at the U18 level to get this valuable experience rather than bringing them up full time this week.

Ross Campbell is really turning into a solid player for a 16 year old, I think we’re looking at our future leader!
He plays a solid 200ft game and has 3G 1A in his last 5GP and 4G 3A in his last 10GP.
4G 8A for 12 points in 28GP
