The Eagles and Islanders get right back to it this evening with another matchup. Hopefully we have a better outcome than last night.
Game time is 7:00 PM.

Flanagan gets the nod tonight and Simard-Sancy draws in for Nadeau.
All the same forwards dressed, but the lines have been put through the blender.

Thank god for Michaud getting us back into the game. Islanders need to start playing physical. They play a lot better when they hit more. A lot of soft plays the past couple of games.

We are going to be in huge trouble if lapenna gets moved. Flanagan just got pulled a couple of weak goals by him. Young and still learning

Why was Statny traded? Flanagan is not even a good major midget goalie , poor team will suffer

Flanagan is definitely experiencing his struggles early in his time in the Q. Goaltender development is tricky business. But, the frequency with which he has been pulled maybe suggests they are not overly happy with his play. It's tough to criticize the goaltenders, but the puck has to be stopped. Before the trade session hits, do they try to get a look at their other 17 y/o goaltender who looked sharp in training camp, Dustin Riff. Riff is currently playing well in a junior B league in Ontario as a 17 y/o player: www.eliteprospects.com/player/467080/dustin-riff

Got some old time hockey going on, going to be a hell of a third period. Hulton was sure fired up over a couple of calls usually don’t see him going after the refs he was sure dishing it out.

Literally can’t play Flanagan at this point…
But on the other side of the coin, what ever happened to Ruccia? Guy looks almost just as lost…I remember him coming in as a 16 y/o on a terrible Eagles squad and looking great at times.
Is it just me or has he plateaued? I know he’s been struggling, hence the Satny move..

I am pretty excited for the next few years with Michaud, Romeo, and Kersay.
