Seeing what has gone down on the first day, what would you all see as an acceptable return for Kidney? If we lose Kidney, Melanson and Allison I's like to see 3 17yrs in return that are currently playing in the league. The pics would be extras. We regroup and build around those 3 players. |

There are a lot of people saying Gauthier will head to Drummondville next season. They sure have the picks to land him.

I like Kidney a lot but he isn't worth that much for half a season.

I'm thinking that some teams wont finalize their deals (trades) waiting on the other team to make the first move. Good strategy I guess, one team may have to give up more for deal #2 to have a fighting chance.

with Halifax getting Doucet I can see it being unlikely they get Melanson or Kidney. I still think 1 or both end up in Sherbrooke at this point...but time will tell.
Halifax still has ammo to acquire more but I can't see them getting Kidney/Melanson to play on the 3rd line.

McCallum was a really good pickup for Val-d'Or but he's overrated because of his point totals. Yea, Halifax needs a PP guy but Doucet is simply a way better player, and they needed depth up front too. |
