total rumour alert
anyone hear there is as many as 3 out of town free agents showed up with the Isles this week ??
one being a goalie
again total rumour just tossing it out there to see if anyone has heard this

Didn't hear the rumor, but as I mentioned In a thread a couple days ago that it was possible to see Jim look for a goaltender outside the league.....my guess was possibly from Ontario.
Will be interesting to follow.

like i said total rumour just heard while sippin coffee.... last time i heard it it turned out to be true (Hollingsworth) but i had some doubt about it today
other than the goalie it wouldn't make alot of sense to be bringing in outside help right now.... unless injury situation is worse than thought

Heard they were still in talks with Butler that we drafted…ovbiously not a free agent and no clue if he’s coming, but heard they were trying to get him on the island

Kearsey has some in as advertised.... an offensive minded defenceman who can handle the puck. Michaud has been fantastic in his first months as a QMJHL player....12 points in 17 games is a fantastic start for a 16 y/o player. Most 2nd round picks don't really make an impact until their 17 y/o season.
If we were able to land Butler..... that gives us a very, very nice group of 06 born players.
