At first look, don't love the price for only Mackinnon. Was expecting some sort of discount for "financing" Halifax's moves at Christmas. We will see where the rest of the weekend takes us.

Not a big fan of all 3 picks for MacKinnon unless they get a bit of a discount on Rousseau or Vidicek. I was never super impressed with MacKinnon. Hopefully I’m wrong and he’s worth it! |

Not showing up under Halifax for me either. I know that it’s been said a ton, but their new site sucks Its incredible in 2024 they've somehow downgraded a website. And you know they're just ignoring every single complaint because these are all fixable things that have been broken for a while now. |

You will like Zielinski , just like lirette said some games you do not notice him , in a good way, he will get better as he also has played for his country in the U-17 and U-18 for Czechia. He played top 4 with Boutin

You will like Zielinski , just like lirette said some games you do not notice him , in a good way, he will get better as he also has played for his country in the U-17 and U-18 for Czechia. He played top 4 with Boutin So why aren't you trying to win a 2025 championship with him? |

He is a perfect fit for the makeup of the team. He will need to add some more offense this season to be worth the price they paid. I would really like to understand what benefit the Wildcats got from helping out Halifax last year by giving them a 1st to get Reynolds. Not sure we'll even get that explanation anymore since Ritchie is gone. Was the benefit just securing MacKinnon for this season? There certainly isn't a discount paying 1-2-3 for him. |

Yeah its a fair price. No real discount. Worked out for both teams. I doubt your 2025 1st had much higher value on a per player basis. |

There’s more to the trade , that is steep for an overager as is Let’s hope there is. Moncton always seems to come as the loser when trading with Halifax so I don’t have my hopes up. |
