The Islanders are back in action following the Christmas Break with a trip over to Saint John.
We should see Simon Hughes, Genaro Fronduto, Carl-Etienne Michel, and Tye Austin make their debuts tonight. I'm not so sure on Lane Hinkley, since the deal just went down yesterday. I guess it would depend on if he headed back to Drummondville after the Christmas break or not.
We'll be missing Repcik and Brabanec (he's still ours for now) until after the World Junior tournament.
Game time is 7:00.

In the pre-game report on the Q site Romeo is classified as injured/sick.
I’m sure it’s also possible he wasn’t able to get back on time considering the chaos in southern Ontario from the recent stretch of weather.

Part of me feels like they are doing Squires dirty with all this. He was really happy to be here, has started a great program with the Islanders, and a local kid. I also do not think he's that bad of a player. Just don't feel he deserves this.

Hughes snipes his 1st as an Islander and Hinkley drops the mitts and drops the SJ player.
2-1 SJ after two periods.
Isles played much better in that middle frame.
3-3 late in the game.
What a goal by Biakabatuka!
Wow.....and then makes a great defensive play to save a goal against.
Horth ties the game 3-3 with 19 seconds to go in the game.

Good comeback, too bad they couldn't finish it. Austin looks decent

Squires doesn’t overly impress me and hasn’t really all season so far I am not surprised he is scratched. Sure hope Romeo is back in the lineup soon he can make things happen. Nadeau I expected he would have more of a impact coming in has laid 1 or 2 big hits and a scrap that is it other then that he has been invisible. Not a bad first game back after the break got a point out of it.
