The Islanders are back on home ice with many new additions to their lineup.
Tonight, Moncton is in town. The team played well and forced an exciting comeback effort in Saint John on Wednesday. Hopefully we see a victory toinght.
Game time is 7:30.

Jakub Brabenec (Czechia) and Peter Repcik (Slovakia) remain with their respective countries at the World Junior Championships.
Dixon Grimes gets his first career QMJHL start after signing with the Islanders by way of the Guelph Storm (OHL)

Besides the weak second goal I thought Grimes looked solid.. Gallant trying to do way too much by himself

Man I feel bad for our goalies, they are going to be in for a rough second half. Just no help bad giveaways in the zone. Could be due to 6 new players as well and may take sometime to get in sync, but definitely can’t get anything going 5 on 5. Lots of head shaking from Hulton during the second period. If Biakabutuka is traded that will be another big hole.

Very difficult to watch. Lose most puck battles, 2nd to loose pucks, turn overs. You can definitely see the frustration with Hulton and of some of the players.
When Bowness is on The PK and 2nd line PP....you know we're in Trouble.
