We have the Mooseheads coming for a couple of games tonight and tomorrow. It will be a tough test for us.... lately, I feel it's starting to look like the Mooseheads might be the strongest team in the league. They are certainly the offensive leaders. Their 221 goals are tops in the league by close to 30 goals.
We'll be in tough to grab any points tonight and tomorrow and that's concerning because there's starting to be some movement at the bottom of the standings. Cape Breton has won 2 in a row and Saint John picked up the win up in Val-d'Or last night for their third in a row.
The good news is that SJ's win was against VD, who are at the bottom of the Western conference. I'm starting to wonder if we might be better to set our sights on trying to catch and pass some of the teams at the bottom of the West.....Val-d'Or and Drummondville have been horrible lately. Blainville is kind of like us, SJ, and CB in that they are starting to put a few things together. At least it makes for an interesting race to watch!

Alexis Michaud remains day-to-day with an upper body injury.

Great save by Robillard leads to a nice goal by Hughes.

Horth finds the back of the net to even the score at 2.

19yr old Horth, now has 19 goals on the season and 29pts in 44 games.
5 on 3 PP for the Moose near the end of the period and they capitalize putting them back on top, 3-2.
3rd period coming up.
16yr old Dman, Kearsey, banks one in and the game is now tied, 3-3!
18pts for the kid from the blueline........now 19pts!!
Morneau tipped a Kearsey shot from the blueline into the back of the net to even the game, 4-4.

What a great team effort. What a game way to go Isles a lot of people writing this game off and not getting any points, my self included as the moose are a power house team.

What a game! I think teams come in expecting it to be an easy win but the team is showing up and making them work for it

It'll always be satisfying beating Halifax. What a game! Nice seeing L'Heureux leave pretty quiet after getting cocky in the second.
On to tomorrow! Hopefully another huge two points are in store

Wow what an effort and what a game.. love the new score board also this team has heart the size of Texas and work their balls off every shift.. Robilard is as solid of a goalie as you’re gonna get in this league. I really think Sherbrooke is going to kick their sleeves in the ass when it’s all said and done for getting rid of him and going with Adam. Also man oh man Markus Kearsey is going to be something special kid reminded me of a certain #51 out there tonight. I haven’t gotten to many games this year my son was one of the flag bearers tonight so we got into a rare game and man was it a dandy.

made the last minute call to take in the game last night.... admittedly went with very low expectations
boy what a game it turned out to be
had a little bit of everything
gotta give this crew big time props for battling.... down all night versus hottest team in the league and an offensive juggernaut and just never quit
well done boys
won't be goin tonight but will be watching..... -46 is a bit too frosty for this ole fella

Kearsey had, IMO, his best game to date.
The 16yr old defender had 1G and 1A......to go along with a great goal in the shootout.
Kearsey sits 3rd in rookie dmen in scoring. However, he's the top scoring dman who is 16.
Bilodeau is 17 sitting at #1
Tivey is 18 sitting at #2.
Kearsey is 16 sitting at #3.
Not that it matters. Rookies are rookies, just like 17yr old Romeo for us......
It's just nice to see Kearsey putting up the pts he is as a 16yr old dman.
