1-0 Isles after the opening period.
Repcik with the Isles goal.
Moose netminder, James, made a great/lucky save on an Isles 2 on 1.....Horth had the empty net and James got a piece of it with his paddle. Good on him.
Nice to see Biakabutuka back out on the ice.

Isles lead 2-1 after two periods.
Michaud picked up his 9th goal of the season. Really impressed with this 16yr old.
Doucet with the Moose goal.
Shots favor the Moose 30-14 after two.
Grimes has been good again this game. Still looking for his 1st QMJHL win since joining the team....but played great in his last start in Victo losing via shootout.
Should be an interesting 3rd period.

Tight game with the Moose taking the lead with just a minute left in the game. Moose then score an empty netter.
How about Grimes?
Despite the loss, proud how hard the boys played.
Dumais was quite tonight...thankfully.
On to the next one.

Tough loss however the boys were payed great and gave the Moose everything they could handle. Day of rest and get ready for Sunday to face the Eagles
Boys should be proud with how they played the last 2 games vs a stacked Moose team.

About Grimes does he have a chance at being a overage net under for us next year? He has looked good the past couple starts. Anything is possible. Before signing with the Isles, he apparently didn't play for around 6 weeks....so really, just getting settled. |

Feel for the Isles as they played a pretty good game and almost held on.
I like that this just proves that despote the standings, teams playing the isles can't expect an easy win.

Lol watching the post game interview with Hulton he was not a happy camper with giving a goal up that late. He made some good points during his interview.

Another fun night and a great effort. All things considered we have to be pleased to get 2 points out of 2 games with Halifax.
There are definitely a lot of positives we have seen on ice lately. The team looks significantly better than they did a month ago.

Should be able to beat a lot more teams now…whereas a few weeks ago, we couldn’t beat anyone. Should be a fun final stretch, despite being low in the standings.
