Glad to see Lyons as score another one. 3 straight games with a goal. Good confidence builder. I think he can play a good role on this rebuilding team.
Michel has played well since joining the Isles. The 18yr old dman has racked up 10pts in 24gp with the Isles.
Good to get the 2 points!!

Very bizarre to see a QMJHL game on at lunch but I suppose it's a nice treat while I'm stuck in recovery haha.
What a roller-coaster to see hughes take the lead back immediately

Hoping this team has found a hidden gem here in Lyons
as Score said thats 3 straight games scoring goals now and 2 of them are legit snipes... i dunno much about the player but we need offense now and going forward hopefully he will provide some
grab another 2 points hopefully Sunday.... might be able to get a first round matchup that is somewhat competitive here

Dunno how in a game that chippy, one team takes 6 penalties and the other only takes 1.
Glad we ran away with the two points though. Was a lot of fun to go to a morning game though.

Hoping this team has found a hidden gem here in Lyons as Score said thats 3 straight games scoring goals now and 2 of them are legit snipes... i dunno much about the player but we need offense now and going forward hopefully he will provide some I believe before he signed here he led his MHL team in scoring......more pts then Stairs...as they were on the same team. An 18yr old, in 16gp with Campbellton he had : 16gp 18G 16A 34pts I think he'll be a regular contributer to this team next season as a 19yr old. |

Islanders have gone from the basement up to 12th. It's a tight race but it's nice to see them moving up, even if ever so slightly. Feels like maybe this team is finally getting into a groove together

Yea 10 goals from Hughes in 23 games on a bad team, especially by the standards the organization has set... i think he's had exactly the type of career revival you want from him.

You have to give credit to the scouting staff on Michel. After his trade, the talk was that we really liked him in his draft year. He seemed like a throw in as part of the Brabenec trade….but has played very well for us. 5-4 win for the Isles.
