The Islanders will squeeze in another home game while the province is hosting the Canada Games.
Today we’ll see Bathurst head to town.
Game time is 3:00.

Arsenault and Hollingsworth are health scratches. Tessier is still out. Looks like Robillard will be the starter.

Good win today.
Keep the wins rolling, it’s still a legit possibility we finish as high as 9th. Not too long ago we were battling for last place, keep up the great work boys.

This team lately has been a lot of fun to watch. Not sure what changed but the effort is just there now.
Realistically we should still go out first round, but I'd say we'll make it tough for whoever we play.

If we could catch Baie-Comeau to play in the 3-6 matchup and avoid Halifax or Quebec, then it could be an interesting first round matchup.
We are one point behind BC with two games in hand….so we currently have a better winning percentage. BC has been playing OK lately (like us) so we will have to be at our best to think about catching them.
This upcoming Quebec roadie will be key. If we come back with 0 points then you can likely lock us into the current spot in the standings we occupy. But if we can cobble together 2-3 points things get interesting. The opener in Drummondville next Thursday should be circled on everyone’s calendar. Have to take that one. We won’t be getting any points out of Sherbrooke on Friday (Robillard revenge night though!). Saturday we are in Shawinigan….will we have anything left in the tank?

After that road trip we have remaining:
-3 Vs CB -3 Vs SJ -2 Vs Hal -1 Vs Mon
At this juncture in the season it is critically important to be beating the teams below us in the standings.
Baie-Comeau’s final 10 games are:
Host Moncton Host Chicoutimi Visit Quebec Host Val-d’Or for 2 Visit Sherbrooke Visit Blainville for 2 And a home and home with Chicoutimi to wrap up the season
This will be a very interesting race to watch.

yes if we can avoid Halifax could have potential for a solid first round matchup
if not best we could reasonably expect is take a game off them
