Does the lower seed still have to pay the higher seed a percentage of the game 5 profits if the series is 2-3-2 and the lower seed ends up with more home games? I remember that being a thing but didn't know if it still happened.
If it does, there's more incentive for Saint John to do this ticket deal. Get people to the rink that wouldn't normally be able to go during a game that they wouldn't make much money at anyway. Sell the rest of the perishable food and beer that might go to waste from Harbour station during the spring/summer when there are far fewer events. Lots of positives to this, and with around 4800 at the rink it looks like it was a hit. More lower seeds should do this.

They should have to compensate for a game 5 but I'm not sure what the details of that are or what they should be. Good on the Sea Dogs for capitalizing on that if they did.
