If the Mooseheads can somehow pull a win tonight I have a huge feeling we could see a Game 7 Tuesday Night. Going to need another early start, that’s the only way you’re going to beat these guys because they’re going to be pouring shots all over Mathis Rousseau. Got to imagine this puts his draft stock up, I’ll be shocked if he isn’t a Round 5-7 NHL pick. Even if his NHL eligibility was last year by a couple days. Yeah they better get off to a good start so you don't leave half way though. Also you have already announced a Sherbrooke series win. has there been a change of opinion?

I mean, 95% of the time bigger goalies are targets yes, but that doesn't mean a team wouldn't spend a 6th or 7th rounder on him. Look at Juuse Saros in Nashville, pretty sure he's the smallest goalie in the league and he's arguably elite. Never know what could happen. I guess I shouldn’t have used the word “shock” but I absolutely agree, especially on a high stage like this. He’s had a high work load, I can totally see him being an AHL goaltender. Worst case scenario he’s a starter for a university team. But you have to admire his work ethic for being a smaller goalie. I really don’t believe in the size factor when it comes to NHL draft picks anymore. I mean Riley Kidney is only 175 pounds and he was a 2nd round pick. Undrafted Signees exist too, but preferably we want Rousseau as a 20 year old goalie, he’ll be really good by then. There’s a difference between the weight of a forward and the height of a goaltender. There’s 3 NHL goalies this year that played regularly and were under 6 feet, the average size is just under 6’3. You have to be super elite at what you do to get drafted as a sub 6 footer between the pipes. Unfortunately for Rousseau, he just isn’t that. You can’t compare apples to oranges size wise between Rousseau and Kidney.

Trying to get OnHockeyTV and won’t work, must be a problem with the broadcasting.
Mathieu Cataford Shorthanded!? That makes 3 Shorthanded goals for the Moose in this series. Crazy.

Wow ok lol. Moose playing solid. Losing the puck possession and offensive zone time battle, but not giving up any high quality chances or odd man rushes. Playing composed defensively and capitalizing on their chances.
Can't start sitting back yet tho. Need some offensive zone play and get bodies and pucks on Adam.

Nothing wrong with that start. Sherbrooke looked slow. They aren't zipping the puck around like we're used to seeing and Halifax are picking off passes and rushing the other way. That 1-0 goal was all Vidicek's hard work on the penalty-kill.
Gotta think the Phoenix will get an ear full from Julien and come out with some jump in the 2nd.

Difference between game 1 and the 2nd/3rd period of game 2 and most of the last 2 games is the Moose aren't standing still. Always in motion. They get to loose pucks. They clear pucks and get there first. Another thing I noticed in Halifax the linemen were calling icing to the letter. Meaning you better be fully over the center line. The Quebec based refs are giving them a foot or two. I think it's benefitting Halifax in this game. But overall Halifax has been good dumping pucks out without icing.

They certainly adjusted to SHE after game 1. Lawrence is FLYING tonight. Great work by the young defense keeping SHE scoring chances to a minimum. Rouseeau is an afterthought, as he's always good.

aaaaand Boucher scores. 3-0.
I don't know how the Moose have managed to flip the script on Sherbrooke and make them look like the team playing on their heels, but I love it.
