Did anyone win tickets to this? I don't know a single person who did of my friend group. I have a sneaking suspicion most of the tickets were given to minor hockey organizations for the kids, but unsure if that's really true. I know people who were offered the tickets but turned them down because they knew it would be the most pre-season roster of all preseason C200 looks so different with fans in the arena Fans in the Building ?

Hopefully this will get Paul MacDonald inspired to get another Pre Season Game here in the future . I know he fancies himself The King of Curling but Hockey is still the Top Dog in this Area .Lets not forget that he didn't know he had to apply to Hockey Canada for the chance to host Pre Tournament World Junior Games last year . so try making up for it somehow .

Was there tonight and had an excellent time. Alot of nostalgia seeing that many people crammed into C200 again.
The hockey was just short of excellent I would say, definitely a bit tailored towards having Batherson as the hometown star and getting involved with every goal, however that's all part of the show they put on and both teams played great.
Batherson was the main draw but his linemate Jiri Smejkal had a beautiful shot past Spencer Knight to open the scoring.
Anton Lundell was head and shoulders the best player on the Panthers and Knight made multiple highlight reel saves. Both guys should have bright futures ahead of them.
I'm sure every kid in the building had a blast, and got to see probably some of the most talented players they will see and I think that's the only thing that really mattered for Kraft, and the Sens/Panthers organizations.

IMO that’s the only thing that really matters in a game like this. Kraft should rightfully so, tailor it towards the kids.

Seemed like it was really well done with a lot of interaction between the players and local minor hockey players in the morning. Seeing this stuff I cant understand why this isn't basically what the first week of every NHL training camp is. Get the teams out into these smaller areas and give the players the on ice time but let fans who otherwise can never see an NHL game get a taste of what its all about.
