He was listed as a scratch when the lineup first came available on the Q site, so probably only got corrected after they posted the lineup on social media No, he wasn't lol He was on the gamesheet and was missing from the lineup (not listed as a scratch or in the lineup) You were saying? imgur.com/a/0HRBMvr

It's one thing to struggle to score on the PP but it's another thing to struggle to keep the puck out of our own net on the PP, especially at a few key times. I haven't fact checked this but it seems like we've given up twice as many SHGs this season as we've scored PPGs. Ironically the PK has been pretty good and I think we've given up about the same amount of SHGs as we've had PPGs scored against us.
At this point I'd rather they just play the regular lines and D pairs when another team takes a penalty and not even worry about the PP. Just the play the way they normally would at both ends. Offensive opportunities will still come with the other team down a player but still focus on defense. Under normal circumstances this wouldn't be a great strategy but given the disastrous results of the PP so far this season, it would be an improvement. At least until they can figure something out.

I think they need to find someone who can truly quarterback the power play. I agree having 4 forwards and a D out there is not working. Especially the ad that is out there is just like another forward. If you can add a D who thinks D first this might allow the forwards to do what they do.

New lines for today with Bellemare up with Elie and Simek and Pierre-Noel with Beveridge and Akkouche. Here's to hoping that Bellemare plays C.

Robinson looking good again. Just needs some Sea Sogs colors painted onto his mask.

Much better effort today. Nice to see the PP have some success and to get some offense from Bilodeau and Tivey. And of course Robinson continues to impress.

All around a much better effort tonight. The team seemed to be much more composed and played a very smart game.

Game 3 in 4 nights! Hope the guys play like they did yesterday. Do you keep the same lineup? I would just swap goalies.

One thing I noticed is that we are trying really hard to balance ice time.
From yesterday, I thought Reynolds, Tivey and Calder were our best players up to the Elie goal, at which point Vince started playing dramatically better.
Also, MacLean was night and day better yesterday versus his other games.
Our goaltending has been a breath of fresh air so far. The last starter to post an .898 or better over a full season for us was Auger (the only goalies to break .900 since are D'Orio as a full season backup, along with Patenaude, Couture and Booth as half season goalies in go for it years)

Also, Elie got the puck in his own end in the 1st and made the right play with it (love seeing guys get the chance soon after to fix mistakes)

I liked Reynolds and Tivey. Calder made some good passes but felt the penalty in 3rd was not smart you could tell he was going to take it. Elie looked good and agree it was nice to see him make the smart play getting puck out of D zone. MacLean I thought was good. I think that was the first time he was in top 6 pairing. I would think getting regular ice time helps his confidence. Goaltending has been very solid so far. Benoit has not been as good as I thought he would have been. I liked him in preseason One thing I noticed is that we are trying really hard to balance ice time.
