Weekend action continues as we make a visit to Halifax on Saturday night.

Horth and Topilnyckj both out...I didn't notice anything significant happen to either of them last night but I know they've had sickness going around the team. Hopefully nothing serious for either

I had Halifax with 8 hits in the 1st and the Islanders with 5. The game sheet shows the Moose with 5 and Islanders with 2. The biggest hit of the period by Schultz did not register. I only counted what I thought were legitimate - solid hits meant to separate the puck carrier from the puck - not bumps or jostles or half-finishing checks. Anyway - looks like the same ratio. Huge start by the Moose with a 3-0 lead in front of more than 9,000 - maybe 10,000. I like Michel from the Islanders. Nice goal by Levesque. There is definitely some grit to this game from the Moose in particular. Thanks for the stats, I always find them interesting. Seems like Halifax is finding their stride again, new players starting to gel maybe? Isles are just well...I don't know. Feel like they left Ozols out to dry. |
