There will be more shooting puck into benches with the over the glass rule. In the NHL guys are doing it all the time to get a whistle and not ice the puck. No penalty in the puck going into the bench area but there is for over the boards.

Totally off topic, but regarding your avatar seahawk, isn't it only the 9th year of the Bathurst Titan? Wasn't their first year 98-99 when they won? Nevermind, I counted wrong

It also happened to a PEI Dman a couple of years ago (MacLellan?) who got suspended for a couple of games for firing a puck toward an official. Travis Mealy 5 gamer, he got. EDIT - In fairness to Mealy, it WAS Cassidy he was firing at... so five games was kind of harsh. Mealy did it twice in the same game ... the first time the Ref looked at him questioningly ... the second time a few minutes later there was no doubt ... and he received a match penalty ... or a gross misconduct ... can't recall the call.

Like Grenache who charged Barberio and then went hiding behind the linesman after making caramel in his pants.... I've never seen Grenache hide from anybody......he's taken on guys 6" taller than him just for the sake of doing it........he also was playing in Moncton with a broken nose, I"m told, so might not have been the best time to drop the gloves......I'm sure he won't hide from anybody there with a "healthy face"..... Then you weren't in Halifax last year when Grenache kneed Bodnarchuck, and then ran from White and Pridham, and later in the game Pender.
