well here we are. What an effort today by the guys and hoping for much of the same tomorrow. Halifax was getting frustrated and we didn't really feed into as much (aside from Lallier throwing the Mooseheads player's stick into the crowd lol...)
wondering if we see Schultz and/or Todd suspended. Both got 5 minutes and match penalties.
also great choice by Gordie to put Huggan back with Orr/Roelens.

Well this series is the definition of "hard work wins when talent doesn't work hard". Heads up to you guys. I am fearing Schultz will be suspended. Todd may be back? The broadcast didn't show either situations unfortunately... So this is just my guess from the little I did see when the camera moved over!

the fact Sharkey got right up after the penalty and was playing the rest of the game leads me to think the hit wasn't as bad as it may have looked
however whether the players from Halifax get suspended or not doesn't matter... you guys are in their heads and if you stick to the same game plan you should be moving on tonight.... well done

2144 in attendance on a Tuesday night wasn't too bad, hopefully you guys can stick a few more in the building tonight and get this finished off on home ice!
Win, Lose, or Draw, this is a huge step towards brighter days for the Titan I believe. Having the Mighty Moose up against the ropes right now (regardless of circumstances) should be a huge confidence builder for this scrappy group.
At the start of the season there was Rumours of Roelens not wanting to be here, Orr and Huggan were considered cast-off from former teams just landing here to get ice time. A few tinkers here and there land you Keller in nets, a raft of great draft picks and some current roster players coming in at Christmas for years to come.
Things are looking up!!

Things are looking up!! definitely feels good to be a Titan fan for the first time in years. This team is competitive and doesn't give up and is also set up beautifully to go on another run or 2 in the near future. A lot of people said Dwyer was overrated, and I did at times myself but now he's really seemed to put the proper foundation in place for this team to succeed. Between the trades, giving guys opportunities, etc. he's done an amazing job this season. really hoping they can close it out tonight and be well rested for another tough challenge ahead. |

Most likely Titan-Drakkar in round 2. If so I wish you luck, that won't be an easy series.

Bathurst hasn't played Baie-Comeau in the playoffs since 2001. Since the Titan moved to Bathurst they've played a lot of the same teams. They've never played Drummondville, Shawinigan, Rouyn-Noranda or Rimouski... their closest rival geographically.

what a series for this team. They must be on cloud 9 right now, the entire lineup played well.
Next series will be an even bigger challenge but they took a game off them at home this year already, no reason they can't be competitive again. Looking forward to the next round.

Got to watch the Drakkar these last 2 games and they are a force to be reckoned with.
I do think their goalie is beatable, but it just didn't matter as the rest of the team just controlled the game. Bathurst will give them a much harder time than the Isles did.

Fans, get out and enjoy the show! Give your boys the support they deserve.
Things definitely don't get any easier from here with Baie-Comeau, but bring the same game plan as this series and it should be one of the most interesting matchups of the second round for the entire league.
Wishful thinking here but, Eagles/Titan Eastern Conference finals has quite a ring to it..

But Bai Comeau has everything Halifax needed to win this series it will be tough my heart is telling me Titan in 7 but i it should be Bai Comeau in 5 or 6 games. The rink was electric last night and we brought out the brooms and made light work out of the mooseheads. Couldnt be happier |
