If we can steal one Friday or Saturday it should make for 3 exciting games here next week.

These first games might be closer than people expect. Even in going down 0-2 will make the next 3 interesting if those openers are decided by only 1 or 2 goals. Goaltending is the key to that.
If they go out and lose 6-1 in the opener it may deflate the Titan and spiral down from there.
Dont think the Drakkar will get that result early. I also dont think Drakkar is looking past the Titan. They respect how they got there.

I think Keller is the big X-factor here, Halifax hasn't been able to solve him and if he stays hot BC could end up very frustrated. The Titan played well in the small sample size vs the Drakkar this year as well so if they can replicate that we're in for an interesting series.
If the Titan can somehow pull off the upset oh boy...
I haven't had as much faith in the Drakkar in the 2nd half and I personally don't see them as the favorites anymore but I could end up being very wrong we will see!
Either way it's going to be a very exciting series.

But an upset isnt out of the question we just need a good individual effort from each player. Bae Comeau is a far bigger team than Halifax was so it will be interesting to see how that works

Drakkar are big and physical team. They are the most penalized team in the playoffs and they allowed the Islanders to score 4 power play goals.
The Titan have more firepower than the Islanders, so if they can stay out of the box themselves and take advantage of the power plays, it should make things very interesting.

yup special teams will be a huge factor. If they play smart and stay out of the box they'll have an advantage.

They moved Andrews back to the 1st line and Huggan to the 3rd, I'm not quite sure why but I'm hoping Huggan ends back up on the 1st line, when he plays alongside Orr and Roelens that line is dominant.

The team must have flown in this morning because I saw the Titan bus at the college this afternoon.

Hold your heads high after that one. My god what a game by the Titan. They gave the Drakkar fits in their own zone and were a good bounce away from overtime there.
Despite the lack of big weapons on the Titan, they're playing extremely good hockey, and they out-worked the Drakkar for most of the game that I watched.

For some reason I am voting for the Titan in this series - despite being a Mooseheads fan. From what I saw this game could have easily been overtime. Plus the first two goals from BC were right at the start of the game. There wasn't much in 2nd/3rd. Good luck tonight.

unfortunate game 2 way to many penalties i feel alot was missed by the officials tn. Belanger is gonna be nasty what a steal in the second rd. Keller was outstanding again Bae Comeau is just to good in the neutral zone we cant break through it seems.

can't win the game being outshot 49 to 25 sadly...Keller kept them in it.
also 43 to 22 in the face-off circle is rough too. BC came out harder in this one for sure.
hopefully they come home with their heads high and driven to bounce back because if they can take game 3 at home we have a series but if we go down 0-3 then it's likely over sadly.
game 1 could've went either way, would've been huge to steal that one.

The Titan looked noticeably tired last night. Especially guys like Roelens, you can tell he has the talent to keep up in this series, but you can't expect him to play like 25 minutes a game back-to-back and be able to give 100% every shift.
That's the advantage of depth... (and honestly this was a huge problem for Halifax as well). No forward on the Drakkar needs to play 20+ hard minutes. They can get away with ~18 each. The gap in skill level means that the Titan have to out-work them to win, and eventually that catches up to you. Your legs get heavy, you lose that extra step trying to suck in air while the Drakkar can play roughly at the same level for 2 games straight.
Game 1 was close, I expect game 3 to be close as well, if the Titan can win game 3 I think they can ride that momentum to make game 4 close as well, but... if they lose game 3 I think that may be curtains unfortunately.
